What we collect
Your email and name when you sign up, the videos you upload or link, and the transcripts and hook clips HookHunter produces from them. We also store basic usage info (videos processed, credits remaining) so we can render your dashboard and bill correctly.
How we use it
We use your videos only to produce the hook clips you asked for. We don't train models on your content. Source uploads and rendered clips are kept in private storage for 30 days so you can re-download or re-export, then deleted automatically.
Third parties
We share the minimum necessary data with: Stripe (payment processing and credit balances), Deepgram (speech-to-text for transcripts), Anthropic via Vercel AI Gateway (LLM scoring of candidate hooks), MongoDB Atlas (user accounts and video metadata), and Vercel (hosting, blob storage, CDN delivery).
Your controls
You can delete your videos at any time from /videos. For full account deletion or a data export, email support@hookhunter.app.
